Founded in 1977, Seaside Music Theater (SMT) is Daytona Beach’s ONLY Professional Theater, and has earned the honor three years in a row as “Florida’s Best Professional Theater” (Florida Monthly Magazine). Critics have called SMT “in the top rank of American Musical Theater companies” and have consistently reviewed its shows as “Broadway-quality” or better.

SMT employs professional actors, musicians, and production designers from nearby and across the nation. Live music accompanies every SMT musical, including a full pit orchestra for productions on the mainstage.
